Rumi: Quatrains of Love

American composer Luna Pearl Woolf was inspired to create Rumi: Quatrains of Love for cello, voice and piano based on the writings of Jalāl ad-Dīn Muhammad Rūmī (1207-1273), one of the world’s most revered and beloved Persian poets. Lisa performed this piece as part of her concert at Shangri La (Honolulu) with Matt Haimovitz (cello) and Jonathan Korth (piano).
